New grid connection & power supplyElectricity tariffs & how bills are calculated
Electricity for companies in Du Long Industrial Park is priced according to the Government's retail tariff for manufacturing customers. We do not publish fixed prices on this website because tariffs are adjusted from time to time.
- 01
By time of use
Multi-tariff meters record peak, normal and off-peak consumption separately. Each period has its own price – peak is the highest, off-peak the lowest.
- 02
By connection voltage
Prices differ by voltage level: 110 kV and above; 22 kV to below 110 kV; 6 kV to below 22 kV; below 6 kV. The higher the voltage, the lower the price.
- 03
Reactive power
If the power factor cos φ is below the required level (0.9), the customer pays for reactive power. A suitable capacitor bank avoids this charge.
Electricity bill = Σ (Energy in each time band × Unit price of that band) + Reactive power charge (if any) + VAT
Meter readings are collected automatically each billing cycle; each invoice clearly states the amount due and the payment deadline.
